Business Operations Manager

Summary

WellHive is seeking a Business Operations Manager to support the executive leadership team in designing, implementing, and optimizing the core operational functions of the organization. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role is essential in enabling leadership to execute effectively, scale efficiently, and deliver on key strategic initiatives.
In this role, you will help translate vision into execution by driving operational clarity, building repeatable processes, and ensuring alignment across teams. Your work will strengthen our ability to move quickly, work smarter, and grow sustainably.

Essential Job Functions

Enhancing Operational Efficiency and Productivity:

  • Drive the implementation of new technologies, tools, and best practices to drive operational efficiency and productivity.

  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, recommend alternate approaches

  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, compliance, and quality in operational processes

  • Troubleshoot issues and streamline execution within business units as needed to ensure alignment.

Monitoring, Reporting, and Risk Management:

  • Monitor and measure the progress and impact of new operational processes, providing regular reports to executive leadership.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles to the success of key operational initiatives.

  • Develop dashboards and internal reports to enhance operational visibility and support data-driven decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Performance Measurement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational activities with strategic objectives.

  • Help define, track, and continuously refine cross-functional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance and drive accountability across the business.

  • Support cross-functional efforts, including presentation development, internal messaging, process improvements, and strategic implementation plans.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in business operations, internal consulting, or process improvement, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment

  • Proven success in building and scaling operational frameworks, workflows, and processes

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time and project management skills

  • A self-starter comfortable working within ambiguity and solving unstructured problems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Technologically literate; fluent in Google Suite, Excel, and other productivity tools. Database or systems experience is a plus, particularly Salesforce.

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and travel as needed for team meetings or critical projects
